About us
Nestled in the heart of Dalmahoy Woodlands, our outdoor nursery and forest school provides an incredible opportunity for children to play, explore, and learn in nature. Our approach encourages risk-taking and problem-solving, from climbing trees to balancing on logs. Storytelling and role-playing are a natural part of our day, as we incorporate nature-based arts and crafts while fostering curiosity, collaboration, and teamwork.
Our beautiful base camp features 2 magnificent trees at its centre, creating a magical gathering space. A cozy shelter is available for resting, indoor activities, and protection from extreme weather, complete with a log burner to keep us warm during the winter months.
Beyond our base camp, we have access to the stunning Dalmahoy Woodlands, offering a scenic walk to a stream, an outdoor play area, and an immersive forest walk. This enchanting woodland setting is where our dedicated Forest School sessions take place, allowing children to connect deeply with nature and develop essential life skills through outdoor experiences.
